Hardcore is not metal or rock or anything. It is a form of punk a deviation from it. Bands such as Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Agnostic Front Today's hardcore consists of stuff like Refused and the like...

You're all listing metal bands, mallcore, rock... I listen to alot of metal but you should be able to tell the difference between the two.

Eh, even the Backstreet Boys have a better sense of melody than most of "today's bands".

I haven't seen many bands I appreciate been listed.

Some of them are death metal, black metal, etc. (I really can't stand black metal unless it's mixed with something and a spice of epicness - but singing is always what gets it for me; note: Arcturus and Deftones)

You knwo what? I completely forgot about Iron maiden until last night. Listened to Number of the Beast again. I need to find my Iron Maiden CD..............*goes to find cd*
